Malembo
Malembo was a port on the Atlantic coast of Cabinda, in present-day Angola, in the old kingdom of Kakongo. In the 18th century it was one of the busiest slave-trading harbours of the Loango Coast, much used by French and English ships, and in the 19th century it traded in palm oil and ivory.
