Person
Mallu Adil Shah
Mallu Adil Shah was the third sultan of Bijapur, succeeding his father Ismail Adil Shah in 1534. His brief reign ended within months when he was deposed and blinded by nobles who placed his brother Ibrahim Adil Shah I on the throne. He is remembered chiefly as an example of the factional politics that repeatedly shaped the Adil Shahi succession.
