Adil Shah

Adil Shah was a nephew of Nader Shah who seized power in the Afsharid Empire after Nader's assassination in 1747. His rule was brief and contested, and he fought a civil war with his brother Ibrahim Shah in 1747–1748. These struggles reduced the remnants of the Afsharid state to chaos.
