Mauricio Macri

Mauricio Macri is an Argentine businessman and centre-right politician, president of the Boca Juniors football club and head of government of the city of Buenos Aires from 2007 to 2015. As president of Argentina from 2015 to 2019 he lifted currency controls and settled with holdout creditors, but a currency crisis in 2018 led to a large IMF loan and his defeat in 2019.
