Mount Abu

Mount Abu is the highest peak of the Aravalli Range, in the south of Rajasthan near the Gujarat border. It is famous for the Dilwara temples, marble Jain temples built under the Chaulukya and Vaghela rulers of Gujarat in the 11th to 13th centuries. Legend made it the site of the sacrificial fire from which the Agnikula Rajput clans, including the Paramaras, were born.
