Nebiryraw I

Nebiryraw I was a king of ancient Egypt in the Second Intermediate Period, ruling from Thebes around 1600 BCE; in Kim Ryholt's reconstruction he is one of the better-attested kings of the Sixteenth Dynasty, while others place him in the Seventeenth. He is named in the Turin King List, and the Cairo Juridical Stela, recording a legal settlement over the governorship of El-Kab, is dated to his first regnal year.
