Nzakara
The Nzakara are a people of the south-east of the Central African Republic, living along the Mbomou River around Bangassou. From the 18th century they were ruled by the Bandia, a dynasty related to the rulers of the Zande, whose sultanate of Bangassou traded in ivory and slaves before the French takeover in the 1890s.
