Ōkubo Tadachika

1553–1628 · 17th century · Also known as Okubo Tadachika

Ōkubo Tadachika was a Japanese daimyo and senior retainer of Tokugawa Ieyasu, lord of the Odawara Domain in Sagami Province and a leading official of the early Tokugawa shogunate. In 1614 he was stripped of his domain and exiled to Ōmi Province, probably as a result of rivalry with the Honda faction at court. He died in exile in 1628.
