Olous
Olous was an ancient Greek city on the Gulf of Mirabello in eastern Crete, near modern Elounda. Its remains now lie partly under the sea because of the sinking of the coast. Inscriptions record its treaties and conflicts with Lato and its ties with Rhodes, and it had a famous wooden statue of Britomartis said to be the work of Daedalus.
