Olt River

The Olt is a river of Romania, about 615 km long, that rises in the Eastern Carpathians, flows through south-eastern Transylvania, cuts through the Southern Carpathians by the Red Tower Pass and runs south to the Danube. It divides Wallachia into Oltenia, named after it, to the west and Muntenia to the east.
