Orchies
Orchies is a small town in the Nord department of northern France, between Lille and Douai. With Lille and Douai it formed Walloon Flanders, the French-speaking south of the County of Flanders, and was transferred with them to the French crown in 1312 after the Franco-Flemish wars. It returned to Flanders in 1369 and became French again through the conquests of Louis XIV in 1667–1668.
