Oxfordshire

Oxfordshire is a county in south-central England, with its county town at Oxford. Its western part, reaching into the Cotswolds, lay on the eastern edge of the territory of the Dobunni in the Iron Age, and in the early Middle Ages it was a borderland between Wessex and Mercia. It is home to the University of Oxford and to Blenheim Palace.
