Pant Pratinidhi
Pant Pratinidhi, or Pratinidhi, was a high office of the Maratha state, created by Chhatrapati Rajaram in the 1690s for a viceregent who could act in the king's name during the wars with the Mughals. The title became hereditary in the Brahmin family of Parshuram Trimbak, whose branches held the states of Aundh and Vishalgad until Indian independence.
