Pavagadh
Pavagadh is a hill in Panchmahal district, Gujarat, India, crowned by the Kalika Mata temple, an important Hindu pilgrimage site. Its fortress was held by Chauhan Rajput rulers until Mahmud Begada of the Gujarat Sultanate captured it, with nearby Champaner, in 1484. The Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004.
