Petuaria
Petuaria was a Roman town at Brough on the Humber in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England, listed by Ptolemy as the town of the Parisi. A 2nd-century inscription set up by an aedile of the vicus of Petuaria records the gift of a new theatre stage. The settlement began as a fort guarding the Humber crossing and probably became the civitas capital of the Parisi.
