Pitambara Peeth

Pitambara Peeth is a Hindu temple complex in the town of Datia, Madhya Pradesh, India, dedicated to the goddess Bagalamukhi in her form as Pitambara, the goddess in yellow, and also to Dhumavati. It was founded in the 20th century by an ascetic known as Swamiji and stands close to an older Shiva shrine. It draws large numbers of pilgrims, making it one of the town's main centres.
