Princes Town (Ghana)
Princes Town, known locally as Pokesu, is a coastal village near Cape Three Points in western Ghana. In 1683 the Brandenburg African Company built the fort of Gross Friedrichsburg there, the headquarters of the Brandenburger Gold Coast, which traded in gold and enslaved people until the colony was sold to the Dutch in 1717.
