Processional Way
The Processional Way was a monumental street in Babylon leading through the Ishtar Gate, decorated with glazed brick reliefs of lions. It was used for religious processions, especially during the New Year festival. Built under Nebuchadnezzar II, it exemplifies the Chaldean Empire's investment in monumental architecture.
