Prophetstown
Prophetstown was a Native American town founded in 1808 by Tenskwatawa and Tecumseh near the junction of the Tippecanoe and Wabash rivers, in present-day Indiana. It became the centre of their pan-tribal movement, drawing followers from many nations. American troops under William Henry Harrison burned it after the Battle of Tippecanoe in 1811; it was rebuilt and destroyed again in 1812.
