Radegast
Radegast is a name linked with Rethra, the chief sanctuary of the West Slavic Lutici. Thietmar of Merseburg, writing around 1015, called the place Riedegost and its main god Zuarasici (Svarožič), while Adam of Bremen in the 1070s named the god himself Radegast. Later tradition made Radegast a Slavic god of hospitality and war.
