Regulamentul Organic
Regulamentul Organic was the quasi-constitutional law introduced in Wallachia in 1831 and Moldavia in 1832 while the principalities were under Russian occupation after the Russo-Turkish War of 1828–1829. Drafted under the Russian governor Pavel Kiselyov, it created modern ministries, budgets, a militia and assemblies dominated by the boyars, and remained the framework of government until the Paris Convention of 1858.
