River Bann
The River Bann is the longest river in Northern Ireland, flowing north through Lough Neagh to the Atlantic near Coleraine. In early medieval Ireland it marked the western limit of the Ulaid after the Uí Néill pushed them east, so that the Kingdom of Ulaid was confined to Antrim and Down.
