River Tummel

The River Tummel is a river of Perthshire, Scotland. It flows east from Loch Rannoch through Loch Tummel and past Pitlochry, where a hydroelectric dam forms Loch Faskally, and joins the River Tay near Ballinluig. Together with the Garry it drains much of the historic district of Atholl, whose valleys formed the core of an early Pictish kingdom.
