Robert II of Capua
Robert II was the last independent Norman Prince of Capua, of the Drengot family, ruling from 1127. He joined the baronial and papal opposition to Roger II of Sicily, who drove him out in 1135 and gave Capua to his own son. Robert was briefly restored with imperial help in 1137 and again during a rebellion in the 1150s, but he was captured in 1156 and died in prison.
