Schwalm
The Schwalm is a river in northern Hesse, Germany, about 97 km long, rising in the Vogelsberg and flowing north past Alsfeld and Schwalmstadt (Treysa and Ziegenhain) to join the Eder near Felsberg. Its marshy valley around Ziegenhain gave its name to the Schwalm region, known for its traditional costumes and half-timbered villages.
