Second Dynasty of Egypt
The Second Dynasty of Egypt ruled from about 2890 to 2686 BCE, the second line of kings of the Early Dynastic period. Its rulers included Hotepsekhemwy, Nynetjer, Peribsen and Khasekhemwy, and the period seems to have seen internal division before Khasekhemwy reunited the country. It was followed by the Third Dynasty and the Old Kingdom.
