Person
Shah Mansur
Shah Mansur was a prince of the Muzaffarid dynasty that ruled Fars and central Iran in the 14th century, and its last effective ruler, seizing Shiraz in 1387. When Timur invaded again, he defied him and in 1393 led a desperate charge against Timur's army near Shiraz, where he was killed. Timur then executed the remaining Muzaffarid princes and annexed their lands.
