Shutrukid dynasty

The Shutrukid dynasty was a ruling line of Elam in the twelfth century BCE under which Elam reached its military zenith. Its kings Shutruk-Nahhunte and Kutir-Nahhunte defeated the Kassite dynasty of Babylon. They carried off the Victory Stele of Naram-Sin and the Code of Hammurabi to Susa.
