Inshushinak
Inshushinak was the patron god of Susa in ancient Elam, whose name means 'lord of Susa' in Sumerian. A god of oaths and of the dead, he became from the 2nd millennium BCE one of the chief gods of the Elamite pantheon, honoured in royal names such as Puzur-Inshushinak and Shilhak-Inshushinak. The ziggurat of Chogha Zanbil was dedicated to him and Napirisha.
