Siunia dynasty
The Siunia were an ancient Armenian princely family that ruled the province of Syunik from antiquity into the Middle Ages. They were among the leading noble houses of Armenia under the Arsacid kings and later under Persian and Arab rule, and in the late 10th century a branch founded the Kingdom of Syunik. Their line continued in local lordships after the kingdom fell.
