State of Pasundan
The State of Pasundan was a federal state created by the Dutch in western Java in 1948, named after the Sundanese homeland, with its capital at Bandung. It joined the United States of Indonesia in December 1949, but it was widely seen as a Dutch creation. After Raymond Westerling's APRA coup attempt in Bandung in January 1950 discredited the federal order, it was dissolved into the Republic of Indonesia in early 1950.
