Subathu
Subathu is a hill cantonment in Solan district, Himachal Pradesh, India, near the former princely state of Kuthar. The British kept it after the Anglo-Nepalese War of 1814–16 and made it one of their first hill garrisons, recruiting Gorkha soldiers there. It still houses a training centre of the Gorkha Rifles.
