Tafna
The Tafna is a river in north-western Algeria that flows into the Mediterranean near Rachgoun. In antiquity the Numidian royal city of Siga stood near its mouth. In 1837 the Treaty of Tafna, signed nearby, recognised Abd al-Qadir's authority over much of western Algeria.
