Takua Pa
Takua Pa is a town and district in Phang Nga Province on the Andaman Sea coast of southern Thailand. In the first millennium CE the area, especially the island of Ko Kho Khao, was a port on the route across the Malay Peninsula. A ninth-century Tamil inscription found there names a merchant guild and a tank named after a title of the Pallava king Nandivarman III.
