Tantara ny Andriana
The Tantara ny Andriana eto Madagasikara ('History of the kings of Madagascar') is a collection of Merina oral traditions about the kings and customs of Imerina. Recorded from Malagasy informants and published between 1873 and 1881 by the French Jesuit François Callet, it is the principal source for the early history of the Merina kingdom.
