Thesprotians

The Thesprotians were one of the three main tribal groups of ancient Epirus, with the Molossians and Chaonians, living in the south-west of the region along the Ionian coast. Homer mentions their land, and the oracle of the dead on the Acheron lay in their territory. They later joined the Molossian-led alliance and the Epirote League.
