Tughshada
Tughshada was the Bukhar Khudah, the local ruler of Bukhara, in the early 8th century. After the Arab general Qutayba ibn Muslim took Bukhara in 709 he installed the young Tughshada as a vassal prince. He reigned for about thirty years under the Umayyads, outwardly accepting Islam, and was killed in 739 at Samarkand. His descendants kept the title under the Abbasids.
