Unna

Unna is a town in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, at the eastern edge of the Ruhr, east of Dortmund. A town of the County of the Mark and a member of the Hanseatic League, it prospered from the salt works of nearby Königsborn and from trade on the Hellweg road. It later became a coal-mining and commuter town.
