Iserlohn

Iserlohn is a town in the Sauerland, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. A town of the County of the Mark from the 13th century, it became known for wire-drawing, needle making and metalwork, and later for brass and bronze goods. In May 1849 it was the scene of a short-lived democratic uprising, crushed by Prussian troops.
