Lüdenscheid

Lüdenscheid is a town in the Sauerland, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. A town of the County of the Mark from the 13th century, it grew through iron working and wire-drawing and later became a centre for making metal buttons and fittings. In the early 20th century its metal works produced the aluminium frames of the first Zeppelin airships.
