Vesdre

The Vesdre is a river of eastern Belgium, about 70 km long, rising in the High Fens near the German border and joining the Ourthe near Liège. It flows past Eupen, Limbourg and Verviers, and its soft water powered the region's wool-cloth industry. In July 2021 it caused devastating floods along its valley.
