Victoriano Huerta
Victoriano Huerta was a Mexican general who seized power in February 1913 in a coup against President Francisco Madero, who was then murdered. His dictatorship faced the Constitutionalist rebellion and the hostility of the United States, which occupied Veracruz in 1914. Defeated, he resigned in July 1914 and died in American custody in Texas in 1916.
