Viracochapampa
Viracochapampa is an archaeological site near Huamachuco in the northern highlands of Peru, built by the Wari Empire around 600 to 700 CE. Its square, walled plan of courtyards and halls closely resembles Pikillacta near Cusco, showing the standard design of Wari provincial centres. Construction appears never to have been finished, and the site was abandoned without long use.
