Virbhadra Singh

1934–2021 · 20th century

Virbhadra Singh was the last Raja of the princely state of Bashahr in the western Himalaya and an Indian National Congress politician. After the state merged into India he served six terms as Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh between 1983 and 2017, as well as a member of parliament and union minister.
