Wannsee Conference
The Wannsee Conference was a meeting of senior Nazi officials held at a villa on the Wannsee lake in Berlin on 20 January 1942. Chaired by Reinhard Heydrich, it coordinated the government ministries and SS offices involved in the 'Final Solution', the deportation and murder of the Jews of Europe. The surviving minutes, kept by Adolf Eichmann, are a key document of the Holocaust.
