Yudhishthira

Yudhishthira is the eldest of the five Pandava brothers in the Mahabharata, the son of Kunti and, in the epic, of the god Dharma. Famed for his devotion to truth and righteousness, he lost his kingdom and his brothers' freedom in a rigged game of dice, and after the Kurukshetra war he ruled from Hastinapura. His royal sacrifice (rajasuya) is the occasion of Shishupala's death at Krishna's hands.
