Zababa
Zababa was a Mesopotamian god of war and the patron deity of the city of Kish. His temple there was called E-mete-ursag, and his consort was the goddess Bau or, in later times, Inanna, who also had a temple at Kish. He was later identified with Ninurta and other warrior gods, and the name appears in royal names such as Ur-Zababa, the king of Kish whom Sargon of Akkad served.
