Kish
Kish was an ancient Sumerian city in central Mesopotamia, associated in tradition with the first kingship after the flood. Sargon of Akkad rose to power from service at Kish before founding the Akkadian Empire. The Sumerian King List records an early king of Kish defeating the Elamites, an episode noted in the Elamite Confederation's profile.
