Ur-Zababa

Ur-Zababa was a king of the Sumerian city of Kish in the late third millennium BCE. According to tradition, the future Sargon of Akkad served as his cupbearer. Accounts of the Akkadian Empire note that Sargon's position at court gave him access to Kish's administrative systems, and that he overthrew Ur-Zababa before founding the Akkadian Empire.
