Zubayrids
The Zubayrids were the supporters of Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr, who claimed the caliphate from Mecca during the Second Fitna after the death of Yazid I in 683. For several years they controlled much of the Islamic world. The Marwanid branch of the Umayyads recovered the caliphate from the Zubayrid claimants under Abd al-Malik, whose forces took Mecca in 692.
